Tyson Introduces Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls from Tyson Foodservice offer convenient, single-serve microwaveable bowls containing up to 24 grams of protein, including multiple meat options, fluffy eggs, homestyle potatoes and real cheddar cheese. All have zero trans fat and offer 180 days shelf life.

Varieties include the turkey sausage 9-ounce Breakfast Bowl with scrambled egg whites, diced potatoes, turkey sausage and cheddar cheese (18 grams of protein); the 7-ounce meat lovers Breakfast Bowl with eggs, potatoes, sausage, cheddar cheese and bacon (24 grams protein); and the 9-ounce biscuit and gravy Breakfast Bowl (9 grams protein).

Fifty-two percent of consumers say protein level is an appealing attribute they look for when choosing a snack, according to the 2017 Technomic Snack Consumer Trend Report. Additionally, 60 percent of consumers seek portion-controlled snacks, according to the IRI 2017 State of the Snack Food Industry report.
