Telemetron Offers Remote Monitoring For Vending

TelemetronThe Telemetron monitoring system allows operators to remotely access information about the sales and technical condition of their vending machines, including available product and the availability of change.

The system consists of an M2M modem installed on the machine that works with MDB, EXE and DEX protocols and an online dashboard that displays operational information. The dashboard provides analytical reports on the overall status of the network, the efficiency of the machines, downtime, maintenance and cash collection.

The system notifies the operator of machine problems via SMS or email. Such problems can include a power outage or if the machine is being shaken, beaten or moved. If the machine is turned off, the modem will automatically switch to power from a built-in battery.

There is also an Android app that operators can use to access the information.

The Telemetron system is available as a cloud service, but it can be installed on a client’s server.

External sensors available include a temperature sensor, a door opening sensor and a payment section door sensor.
