American Vending Sales, Inc. Purchases H.A. Franz & Co.

Elk Grove Village, IL – American Vending Sales (AVS) is continuing their recent expansion with the acquisition of Texas based H.A. Franz & Co. The merger, which is effective November 1, 2016, will add offices in Houston and Dallas to AVS’ current locations near Milwaukee and Minneapolis, and their headquarters near Chicago. All of the locations will conduct business together under the name American Vending Sales, Inc.

“As the amusement and vending industries become more consolidated and competitive, we thought it was time to make a move,” said Joe Franz, President of H.A. Franz. “We have a great deal of respect and trust in the people at AVS and fully expect our customers to thrive working with them.”

AVS and H.A. Franz are working towards a smooth transition with all current H.A. Franz employees staying on to become AVS employees. Joe Franz will remain on to oversee the Houston and Dallas offices. Customers can continue to contact their existing sales, service and parts representatives in each office.
