Sharon Peyer joins national leadership team guiding the $40B convenience services industry

Sharon Peyer, Vice President and General Manager, Convenience Services at Crane Payment Innovations (CPI), has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), the national trade group representing the $40.04 billion U.S. Convenience Services Industry. The appointment positions Sharon among a select group of industry leaders guiding national strategy for a sector that reaches more than 40 million consumers daily through micro markets, vending, coffee and pantry services, and unattended retail.

“I’m honored to join the NAMA Board of Directors and contribute to an industry that provides millions of people each day with seamless, self-service access to the products they need in the moments that matter,” said Sharon Peyer, VPGM, Convenience Services at CPI, in a recent press release. “I look forward to working with my fellow NAMA board members to help advance the innovation, customer focus, and trusted solutions that define this industry and its impact on everyday life.”

Sharon brings a distinctive combination of entrepreneurial experience, commercial strategy, and cross-sector innovation to the NAMA Board. She has founded and led venture-backed startups, launched the convenience services industry’s first digital out-of-home media network, and held leadership roles at companies in the retail, media and entertainment, and finance industries. At CPI, Sharon oversees a global business spanning automated merchandising, payment processing, remote management, and technical services. Her expertise in scaling platforms, developing new business models, and aligning digital and physical user experiences positions her to help NAMA and its members navigate evolving market dynamics, unlock new growth opportunities, and expand the industry’s impact.

The 2025–2026 Board term officially began on July 1, 2025. Sharon joins a diverse group of operators, suppliers, and innovators working together to support NAMA’s advocacy, education, and member initiatives nationwide.
