Dark Escape Games has announced their new fully-automated concept, Five-Minute Escape Cabinets. Clown Around and Pyramid Scheme are the first two cabinets in the product line, and they will debut at AVS Companies Booth #1918 at IAAPA Expo 2025.
“I’ve always been captivated with storytelling and the desire to really immerse and engage people in a visceral experience,” said Sean Tyler, CEO of Dark Escape Games, in a recent press release. “In the end, what we’ve created is an entire world in just twenty square feet, one where you truly feel like a character in the story.”

The Five-Minute Escape Cabinets occupy a small footprint and require no staff members to operate. Expansion Scenarios are also scheduled to be released annually and will provide a refresh to existing cabinets with a new adventure, including new puzzles, props and audio tracks.

Clown Around is a finalist for the IAAPA Expo Brass Ring Award for Best New Product and that cabinet, along with Pyramid Scheme, will both begin shipping in Q1 2026.
