Betson Expands Technical Training Program

The new curriculum now includes three distinct training options designed to meet the diverse needs of Family Entertainment Centers (FECs), helping them maximize revenue by minimizing equipment downtime.

BTU Core

The foundational two-day training and certification course offers an intensive, hands-on experience in a classroom setting. Participants learn practical exercises in troubleshooting and repairing arcade games and receive an official certification upon successful completion. Scholarships are available, and the course is offered in four cities nationwide annually, making it accessible to professionals across the country.

BTU On-Site

For larger teams, the BTU ON-SITE program brings Betson’s expert trainers directly to a customer’s location. This two-day program is identical to the BTU CORE curriculum but is tailored to the specific equipment and needs of the customer’s game room. Available for groups of 10 or more, this option offers flexible scheduling and significantly reduces downtime by training staff directly in their work environment.

BTU Wellness

BTU WELLNESS is a unique hybrid program that combines classroom training with hands-on repair work. The service includes one day of classroom instruction, followed by dedicated time for game room repair. To ensure efficiency, Betson’s technicians conduct a pre-visit triage and ship necessary parts in advance. Trainees receive direct, hands-on instruction while repairing machines alongside the experts, ensuring machines are fixed while the team gains practical experience.
