Only a Few Weeks Until EVEX Heads to Germany
More than 250 participants are already registered for EVEX VendCon which takes place on 7 & 8 November in Bonn.
The European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) is excited that EVEX, the European Vending Experience, will return shortly with the joint industry event ‘EVEX-VendCon’ organized together with the German Vending Association (BDV).
With only weeks to go, we are delighted that more than 250 participants have already registered, and over 37 exhibitors/sponsors will be able to showcase their latest developments in the modern conference hotel Kameha Grand, located along the Rhine in the former capital of West Germany. The deadline for registering for the event is Friday 28 October.
Further information as well as registration for EVEX-VendCon can be found at the following link: www.vendcon.de EVEX-VendCon will commence on the evening of 7 November, where attendees will get a first taste of the networking opportunities as they are welcomed to a typical Bavarian style chalet to mingle with colleagues from the industry in a very relaxed atmosphere.
On 8 November, the day will start with the EVA General Assembly meeting followed immediately by the anticipated elections of the new EVA Executive Committee. The BDV General Assembly will follow before sponsor presentations and the keynote speech will take place. The trade exhibition where both BDV and EVA members will have the opportunity to show their products and services and meet visitors from the German speaking region, will continue throughout the day. We are pleased to announce that the keynote speech will be given by Frank Busemann, an Olympic medal-winning former decathlete and current athletics pundit on German TV. His speech, entitled ‘Just do it’ will draw comparisons between the pressures of professional sport and daily business life, with a particular emphasis on perseverance through challenges and dealing with setbacks. The official event program is planned to conclude with networking drinks featuring a DJ and a buffet dinner on-site overlooking the Rhine. Having again everything organized in the one venue will give the attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas with peers and to create this industry spirit which we have missed over the last three years.
