Over the last decade, the company outgrew its previous building, splitting departments into multiple locations due to service expansion, economic development, and surging customer base growth across Middle Tennessee. The new 80,000-square-foot facility consolidates four separate buildings into one centralized hub for service to metro Nashville and the surrounding counties. The combined usable square footage of the previous facilities totaled approximately 55,000 square feet, making the new distribution center a significant expansion that better supports daily operations, improves efficiency, and enhances employee morale.

“This move represents an important investment in our people, our customers, and our future growth in Middle Tennessee,” said Jason Craig, Regional Vice President at Five Star in today’s press release. “By bringing our operations together under one roof, we have created a more efficient environment that allows us to better serve our customers while providing an enhanced workplace for our associates.”

The upfitted facility delivers substantial operational improvements, including more than double the size of the branch’s pick lines, quadruple the cold storage capacity, and a fully climate-controlled warehouse environment. Additional enhancements include a 40-person training room, a large break room with premium amenities, and newly designed collaboration spaces throughout the office featuring unique gathering and seating areas that encourage communication and teamwork. These improvements position Five Star for continued growth in Middle Tennessee while enabling its ability to deliver exceptional service to customers.

Five Star Breaktime Solutions continues to invest in its mission of providing innovative breaktime solutions to support the communities it serves. The new Nashville facility reinforces that commitment and ensures the company is well-equipped to continue growth as Middle Tennessee develops.

As part of the ribbon cutting event, local Five Star representatives presented a $5,000 gift on behalf of its foundation, Feeding the Future. This was given to Hope Fellowship Church restricted to support their work with the Rutherford County ATLAS weekend food bag for school students experiencing food insecurity.
