Vendors Exchange International Acquires American Vending Machines To Expand Remanufacturing
Vendors Exchange International (VEI), the Cleveland provider of solutions for the vending industry, ranging from remanufactured vending equipment to replacement parts, graphics to electronic repair, has acquired American Vending Machines, a St. Louis, Mo.-based remanufacturer and supplier of equipment and parts.
The St. Louis facility will provide VEI added manufacturing space and a highly skilled workforce. Andy Hayes, owner and founder of AVM, will remain with the combined company and continue to serve the existing customer base while leading new growth initiatives.
“Andy is an energetic leader with a wealth of industry knowledge,” said Matt Shene, CEO of VEI. “He and his team will bring an added element to VEI. I am looking forward to working together as we continue to drive toward our goal of better serving the industry.”
