NAMA Certifies Azkoyen Group Vending Machines

Azkoyen Group VendingThe Azkoyen Group, a multinational technology firm with headquarters in Navarre, Spain, specializing in the design, manufacturing and marketing of advanced technology solutions, has earned National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) certification for the vending machine models it currently markets in the U.S.: Vitro S5, Vitale, Zen, Zintro and Zensia. The certification is based on the 2013U.S. Food and Drug Administration Food Code.

All the hot beverage machines manufactured by the Azkoyen Group have been evaluated according to the construction standards and public health codes recommended by the U.S. Vending Industry and Health Council.

To earn the NAMA certificate, the materials, design, construction and performance of the vending machines were analyzed, taking into account environmental temperature studies, principles of sound engineering and research on test records and field work, among other aspects.

Participating in this evaluation program are manufacturers, rebuilders and suppliers of vending machine equipment, coffee machines and refrigerators, with the goal being that their products can demonstrate compliance with internationally recognized U.S. public health standards.
