365 Retail Markets’ 365Pay Provides Audio Accessibility For The Visually Impaired

365pay365 Retail Markets’ 365Pay has become the first mobile payment app in the foodservice convenience industry to offer audio-accessibility, making micro market checkout possible for the visually impaired, the company announced.

The built-in accessibility tools provide users a swipe and touch based app that reads what they click out loud. Users can enable Android Talkback and iOS Voiceover via the “settings” on their mobile phones, allowing them to listen to an audio voice of what products they select within the app and easily check out.

The company announced the update during the recent National Association for the Blind Convention.

“It’s nice that the new voiceover option is built-in and that users don’t have to learn new technology or download third-party tools,” Nicholas Gacos, president of the National Association of Blind Merchants, said in a blog. “365Pay has improved the way we snack!”

Consumers can also use the scan and pay feature to make purchases and check out at any 365 Connected Campus.
