Tubz Brands launches Sqwishland bulk vending toys in Europe – 20 million sold per year in US
American sales for Sqwishland vending products have exceeded 20 million per year and has been voted ‘Bulk Vending Toy of the Year’ for the past eight years in a row.
It is the only vending product that ties in with a gaming app.
Each vending capsule contains a toy, which comes with a code for an interactive game to play on the Sqwishland app. Children can play games with their friends and the more vending toys and codes they collect, the more options there are in the game.
Despite huge success in the States it’s not until now that Sqwishland products have been available outside the US.
Tubz Brands secured European rights to distribute Sqwishland vending products in May 2017 and now (from September 2017) they are launching the brand with three series of Sqwishland characters.
They have already received orders for more than 250,000 products.
Distribution rights were acquired from Sqwishland owners Brand Vending, who are based in Arizona.
Tubz Brands’ sales director Simon Smith explained why the collaboration with Brand Vending makes sense:
“Sqwishland is a brand that’s already established in the US, selling in excess of 20 million capsules every year, so it’s already proven.
“We’re lucky to have secured this deal meaning we’re the first company to bring Sqwishland outside the US.”
Tubz Brands have worked with a number of big brands in the past, including King (Candy Crush) and Disney.
