Pair of Industry Veterans Join Five Star, Expanding the company’s sales organization
CHATTANOOGA, TN – Canteen franchise Five Star Food Service announced today the addition of industry veterans Jeff Lyons and Herb Modesitt to their growing sales organization. Both share extensive background in the vending, coffee service, and foodservice industry. Five Star has added the positions of Director of Office Coffee Sales and Director of National Accounts to bolster its sales team lead by Vice President of Sales, Pat Barger.
Meet Jeff
After spending the last 17 years with Aramark as a National Account Manager, Jeff Lyons joins Five Star as Director of National Accounts where he will oversee all third party partner relationships. “Jeff brings an extensive background in optimization and growth of national account and third-party relationships,” said Pat Barger. “He will be a huge asset to the company as we look to expand these programs.”
Meet Herb
After a brief stint outside of the industry, Herb Modesitt returns to join Five Star as the Director of Office Coffee Sales where he will oversee and lead the office coffee sales team. Modesitt is a 28-year coffee service industry veteran serving in sales and leadership roles at Aramark, Filterfresh, and Royal Cup respectively. “We are thrilled to add Herb to our team. His expertise and leadership will enable us to focus on continued high levels of new business growth of our coffee, water, and pantry service division,” commented Barger.
