UpMeals And ShareWares – Partnership Will Bring Sustainable Vending To Vancouver, BC Area

UpMeals

Vancouver-based UpMeals, announced recently that they will be partnering with ShareWares, a company that produces reusable containers so that UpMeals can offer their meals to consumers in containers that can be washed, sanitized, and reused for other meals.

UpMeals has already built an established business in the Vancouver area, but their meals only came in containers that only could be used one time.

Thanks to their partnership with ShareWares, customers who purchase their meals from an UpMeals vending machine can have confidence that they are effectively doing their part to help the environment.

About The Partnership

Once a consumer’s meal is enjoyed, they can leave their meals container in a bin that will sit next to the UpMeals Vending machine where it will be picked up later by ShareWares, washed, sanitized, and reused for another meal.

More people than ever before are concerned about doing their part to help the environment, including creating a ‘circular economy’ that sees product packaging reused, instead of ending up in landfills.

ShareWares was already sanitizing reusable containers for local businesses, so it was only a matter of time until they connected with UpMeals.

BPA-Free, Reusable Containers

The partnership is going to be a win-win for the environment since it means less plastic waste will end up in local landfills, and UpMeals will have a reliable source of BPA-free, reusable containers, that can be washed, sanitized, and reused hundreds of times.

“We love working with other innovative local startups with a passion for growth. This partnership is a win-win-win for our companies, Vancouverites, and our planet.” – Cody Irwin, CEO of ShareWares.
