Stryker Jerky Introduces Healthy Meat Snack

Stryker Jerky from Retail Distribution Group offers a healthy 1-ounce meat snack in six flavors – Cajun, barbecue, hot, teriyaki, peppered and original. The Corona, Calif.-based company, formed several months ago by partners Scott Smith and Neal Rogers, has targeted the vending trade, in addition to military bases, convenience stores and retailers.

The gluten-free jerky is 100 percent beef, is filled with natural collagen, and contains no GMOs, no nitrogen and low sodium, according to Smith. The jerky comes 24 sticks per caddy and 144 sticks per case, and is produced by a contract packer that can deliver more than 3 million sticks per month, he said.

The jerky is available direct from the company and has already been picked up by a national and large regional vending operation, in addition to military bases and convenience stores, Smith said.
